​NV Movement is a fitness program created for everyone at any age and can be tailored to all fitness levels. Adoptees of the NV Movement attest to having achieved the slim physique they’ve longed for and a fitness level they never thought possible. The program emphasizes that more is NOT better because, precise training provides optimal results.  When you begin NV Movement you immediately start the process of rehabilitating poor posture, poor movement and areas of pain.   

People are excited by the quick results they achieve when they incorporate NV movements into their daily lives.     

JOINT MOBILITY WARM UP 

Joint Mobility is a daily warm up designed to get circulation moving, enhance the mind–body connection and prepare your joints for the day. The warm up is a series of proprioceptive movements that isolate each joint and take it through a relaxed, full range of motion. Joints do not receive their own blood supply; they rely on synovial fluid for nutrients, oxygen, and the removal of waste. By isolating each joint and moving it through a relaxed, full range of motion, you stimulate the release of synovial fluid which will decrease scar tissue, pain and inflammation.  No equipment is needed. Traditionally most people have been taught stretching as a warm up, however stretching can actually have the opposite effect, making your muscles tighter and the tendons rigid. The pinch or “stretch” that you feel is the muscle getting tighter and shorter. For this reason, the Neurovascular Method recommends a Joint Mobility warm up instead of stretching.   

AIRBELLS

​Airbells is a fitness and health program adapted from Kettlebell exercises, designed to reduce pain, increase energy and improve overall function. Airbells combine the same movements used in kettlebell exercises, only they are performed without using a kettlebells. The weightless workout stimulates circulation which increases metabolism and sets up healthy movement patterns to prevent injury. Airbells also activate oxygen, remove waste and decrease inflammation.  Circulation is also improved, leading to an increase in metabolism. This is one reason why Airbells provide such quick results. Instead of just burning calories during a workout, your improved circulation burns more calories throughout the day. Although you are not using a weight, your strength will still increase because taking a muscle through its full range of motion elongates the fibers and produces strength gains.  Airbells should be done a minimum of three times a week. However, for best results it’s recommended to do them daily.

 

 KETTLEBELLS

Missy’s kettlebell workout was designed after years of training thousands of clients at varying ages and fitness levels. Kettlebell applies the same movement patterns learned in airbells, only now you add a kettlebell. It is important to train the body as an interconnected unit. Kettlebell training is integration not isolation, which means that you’re using all of your muscles in unison. This means your workouts are shorter and the results come much quicker. It is a combination of strength, cardio, balance and flexibility, all in one workout, NV’s kettlebell workout creates long lean muscles, melts away fat, increases strength and energy levels.
